Fernfield Fashion 1955

  1. My mother and all of the neighbor women made and wore these daily. They called them drindl skirts. They were the jeans of the 1950s. They were worn for casual non-events, such as making meatloaf and dealing with the countless bee stings the children had each summer. By the way, Nancy Drew wore "dungarees" and I believe they were a 1950s thing, if the poodle skirts aren't going to make it through your book.
